The Tatneft Charitable Foundation is a new partner of the «Creative Industries: Journalistic View» competition

Within the framework of the II All—Russian Forum of Creative Industries Almet Creative Days, which took place from July 19 to 27, 2024 in Tatarstan, Igor M. Namakonov, CEO of the Federation of Creative Industries, took part in a panel discussion on journalism and announced thecontinuation of the competition «Creative industries: a journalistic view»in the new season.

Together with representatives of corporate publications, the Union of Journalists and New Media, they discussed industry materials in the media, the role of Tatarstan in covering creative industries.The main points of the meeting:

- The topic of creative industriesis not clear to the media, so there are few industry materials;

- Journalism is perceived as asocial work due to low salaries and unclear development prospects;

- The media today are becoming multimedia editorial offices in order to develop through digital tools andsocial digital projects;

- Corporate publications arepromising for CI, as they are maximally involved in working with society, including through social branding;

«The presence of creative industries in the information field is one of the aspectsof the industry's development. The discussion showed that Tatarstan can becomea platform where new tools for highlighting creative industries will appear, and from here these practices will spread to other regions,» Igor M.Namakonov, CEO of the Federation of Creative Industries.

«The Creative Industries: Journalistic View» competition was created to solve theproblems of the industry identified at the session, to support professional authors and to promote the growth of journalists' expertise in the field ofcreative industries.

New initiatives are planned for the second season ofthe competition — training seminars for journalists and a unifying event forindustry experts. The Tatneft Charitable Foundation will act as a partner of the CIF in this regard.
