The first meeting of the founders of the Federation of Creative Industries

The first meeting of the Federation of Creative Industries (CIF) founders, uniting leading professional organizations, creative unions and successful creative business companies, took place on February 24, 2021.

This meeting was attended by organizations such as the Institute of National Projects, the Association of Film and Television Producers (APKiT), the Russian Animated Film Association, IPChain Association, Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC), Russian Music Union, Union of Creative Clusters, Association of Communication Agencies of Russia (AKAR), Union of Composers, Roskultcentr, M. Gorky Moscow Art Theatre and many others.

The participants of the meeting discussed common goals and tasks among which, the key one is to transform creative industries into a stable segment of Russia’s national economy, to provide a dialogue with the government and a support system to all participants of the creative industries market on the federal and regional levels.

As a result of this meeting it was decided that the Federation of Creative Industries will be governed by the general director. Moreover, at the meeting, comments on the improvement of the Association's Charter were corrected and a pool of strategic initiatives and projects of the Federation was outlined.
