The First Educational Marathon for Authors of Creative Projects at SPIEF-2021 has Come to an End
We have summarized the results of the educational marathon that took place at SPIEF. Its participants were the authors of projects in the field of creative industries from 20 regions of Russia that were previously selected on a competitive basis.
The educational program was developed by the Roskultsk Center and the Federation of Creative Industries in partnership with the Russian Book Union, with support from the Presidential Grants Foundation.
The training took place from June 2-4 and was divided into thematic blocks: "Product", "Promotion", and "Resources".
The format of the educational program included master classes, workshops, and individual work by participants with a pool of experts. During these days, mentors talked about how to create a product image and branding, prepare a strategy, and protect intellectual property, the basics of digital promotion, working with the media, and the export potential of projects. On the final day, there were intensive master classes on creating collaborations, discussing methods of attracting investment, opportunities for grants and subsidies, and preparing sales presentations.
"Roskultcenter pays special attention to the formation of business skills among Russian creative teams. Thanks to the educational program, their leaders were able to spend several days in a real business intensive within SPIEF. Even for many successful businessmen, participation in a forum at this level is a very high bar. But for our young creators, it is a real opportunity for networking and creating prospects. The next stage is the participation of the 10 best project authors in the "Russian Creative Week" and new opportunities for replication of their ideas at the federal level,” Marina Abramova, director of the "Russian Creative Week" forum and the head of "Roskultcenter", said on the results of the master class.
"Each project author has his own experience and level of knowledge. Of course, they need support and motivation so that they can realize the specifics of implementing their creative projects. With this experience, they had a great opportunity to immerse themselves in the logic of the industry's top experts for three days to discuss their problems, receive consultation and advice. In usual conditions, it is impossible to realize such an opportunity in such an intensive format", - said Igor M. Namakonov, Director General of the Federation of Creative Industries.
Five days after the completion of the Creative and Educational Days (CED) program, participants will meet online to pitch projects, and at the end, 10 projects will be selected for further participation in the "Russian Creative Week" forum. The jury of the online selection includes Yan Kozhan, director of Sysert Development Agency; Alisa Prudnikova, commissioner and artistic director of the Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art; Anna Lukanina, managing partner of the Depot branding agency and president of ABCR and others.
According to the participants and organizers, the program has been motivational for young creators and a starting point for the implementation of the project CED in a broader format for the development of young creators all over Russia.
