Expanding Project Geography: CIF Signs New Agreements at RCN'22
The Creative Industries Federation (CIF) presented some new updates on its flagship developments.
The 100 Most Creative Russians is a survey that selects the most outstanding personalities and creative teams shaping Russia's creative sector. Regional “hundreds" lists have already appeared in Tatarstan, the Kaliningrad Region and Yakutia and CIF plans to expand the geography of the project further. During Russian Creative Week, the CIF signed a cooperation agreement with the Siberian Institute of Creative Industries Development. One hundred creative leaders will be selected from the Krasnoyarsk region, and the results of the “Yenisey. 100 Most Creative Russians” list will be presented at the "Russian Creative Week - Siberia” forum.
This year the Wonderussia project has received the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives — an online display of local Russian creative products, which will be selected by the analytical group of the project with the help of the regional creative experts,. The pilot research phase will be held in five Russian cities: Ulyanovsk, Khanty-Mansiysk, Yakutsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow. To carry out the project the Creative Industries Federation has signed agreements with the regional partners of Wonderussia: the "Ulyanovsk - Cultural Capital” fund, the Ugra "My Business” support fund, the Sakha Republic Development Corporation (Yakutia), "Center 800" (Nizhny Novgorod) and the Agency for Creative Industries (Moscow).
In addition, CIF discussed their new b2b “CIF Red Button” Telegram channel, which is aimed at distributing important information for creative entrepreneurs and to stimulate communication inside the creative community for the creation of new cross-industry projects. Today, more than 600 representatives of the sector and those interested in creative industries are subscribed to the "Red Button". The channel's editorial board consists of 15 experts and heads of regional project offices.
Also the Creative Industries Federation presented the “Creaton-Hackathon” project for the development of small communities. In the near future, Pskov will host the premiere of the "Pskov Creative Way” documentary, filmed during a research expedition, where experts from CIF studied the creative potential of seven small towns and villages in the Pskov region.
“The current state of the sector that experts record, issues which are discussed at the panels, and what decisions are made during the discussions, will largely determine the agenda for the next year," Igor M. Namakonov, CEO of the Creative Industries Federation, said. “It is important for us that the CIF has been integrated into all key events and discussions this year with its proposals, products and ideas. It is an indicator of the increasing role of our association for the market".
